It was optional on PS4 but its mandatory on PC. The new theater mode is literally just pre-rendered video files and the whole thing takes up 10 GB.

KH1 was the only game to never get a cutscene theater mode on it's original console so they instead added it later on PS4 and did it somewhat haphazardly. It's like this on all versions and it's the reason ReCoM's cutscenes look so much worse graphically since they are upscaled videos. ReCoM on the other hand takes up about 7 GB because for some reason they decided to pre-render all of the game's voiced cutscenes instead of doing them in-engine.

KH1, KH2 and BBS are mostly in-engine and only take up about 1.5 to 2 GB each for their pre-rendered scenes. Same mostly apply for this.ĭays and Recoded are nothing but video files and take up about 6 GB each. If you've never heard of this story before, both Mario Sunshine and Wind Waker on Gamecube are literally 3/4 video files and the other 1/4 is the actual game. The real meat of the file size are the video files. Also in the Xbox One port, in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, at some points, the face buttons for the command shortcuts are the PS4 ones instead, as the people. Something you should know is that the four games in the collection are only about 26GB total with the higher quality textures and uncompressed sound and music taken into account.
